Pam helps children and teens to improve their decision making, self-esteem, and social relationships. She believes building a trusting, mutually respectful, relationship with youth is essential to providing excellent and effective therapy. Pam works with parents and their child by having constructive conversations regarding the issues their child struggles with and developing a plan to address them. Pam specializes in working with:
- emotional trauma
- social relationships
- poor communication and decision making skills
Pamela is a strong believer in “it takes a village”. She knows understanding the family, their supports, and the environment are key in the success of therapy for children. Youth and their family will be provided information to help them understand the “why” of the problematic behavior. Pam works collaboratively with youth and their family to come up with solutions that fit their household, values, and lifestyle.
